100 Tiles

A new project for the new year - 100 paintings on tiny canvases the size of the lovely stone tiles I see everywhere here in the South of France. The subject will be the landscape, but who knows where the road paved with these tiles will lead.

Colors layed on then scrubbed off, to accentuate the texture of the gesso ground.
